Paris Saint-Germain winger Julian Draxler is good friends with Sead Kolasinac after playing together at Schalke but that hasn’t stop us from jumping to conclusions.

Draxler is down the pecking order under Unai Emery at the Parc des Princes following the summer arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, and it is thought that a switch to the Emirates stadium could be seen as a way out for the 24-year-old. The former Wolfsburg man will likely need first-team football in the remainder of the season if he’s to guarantee a position in Germany’s World Cup squad.

And Draxler did little to throw cold water on the recent speculation by uploading a photo of an Arsenal shirt with Sead Kolasinac’s name on the back onto his Instagram story.

The World-Cup winner only joined the French giants in January of this year, however has has played 90 minutes football just twice for PSG this season, with a further two appearances coming from the substitutes’ bench.

Arsene Wenger’s interest in him has been well documented, even since the pacy attacker’s days at Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, and now the French manager sees the chance to finally land his man.
