Arsenal welcome Stoke City to the Emirates Stadium for Sunday afternoon’s Premier League clash, and are big favourites pick up all three points given the contrasting form of the two sides.
The Gunners are 13 places and 21 points better off than Stoke in the table and are coming off the back of three consecutive wins in all competitions. City, on the other hand, are three points adrift in the relegation zone and without a league win in seven. Arsenal have dominated this fixture in recent years too.

Arsenal boast four wins and a draw from their last six league meetings with Stoke, and the Gunners don’t lose to the Potters either – nine wins from nine at the Emirates since City earned promotion to the top flight.
As a result, Arsenal will fancy their chances of coming out on top, to potentially cut the gap to fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur. Stoke are desperate for a result, however, given the could move a step closer to relegation if they fall short in London, so Arsene Wenger’s men have to be prepared for a response.
