Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac is a doubt for the visit of Stoke City in Sunday’s Premier League meeting after picking up a knock on international duty, reports the Daily Star.

It could force Wenger into a minor tactical change but shouldn’t cause too much upheaval given Nacho Monreal can operate in the role.

The 24-year-old, who joined Arsenal from Schalke 04 last summer, has endured an indifferent debut season at the Emirates Stadium.

He’s made 22 Premier League appearances but has missed seven of their last 14 outings, starting just four of them.

Kolasinac started for Bosnia-Herzegovina in their international friendly against Senegal but picked up a knee injury in the second-half due to a kick from another player.

After signalling to the bench, he was brought off due to the knock and may not start against Stoke as a result.

Football.London say Arsenal will monitor the left-back’s progress ahead of the Stoke meeting, and hint that Kolasinac could be rested due to the Gunners’ Europa League quarter-final meeting with CSKA Moscow on Thursday.

Monreal should start in place of the injured defender this weekend if Wenger deems the latter not fit enough to feature.
