After making our way into the fourth round of the League Cup on Wednesday, we are back in action in the Premier League, in a Monday night kick-off against West Bromwich Albion on Match Day 6. We are facing the Baggies fresh from a draw against reigning champions Chelsea but will not find it any easier to pick points off an in-form Baggies side in this tie.

Tony Pulis side have now won two and drawn two of their first five games of the season and will go for the kill.

Team News

As far as the team new is concerned, our side are still without the services of Calum Chambers, Francis Coquelin, Danny Welbeck and Santi Cazorla, all of who are still nursing injuries. Mesut Ozil and Theo Walcott are both close to making a comeback but are doubtful for this game.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Manager: Arsene Wenger

GK – Petr Cech

After being rested for the League Cup clash, Cech should be back between the sticks for this league fixture for Arsenal.

CB – Laurent Koscielny

The Frenchman has been effective as a part of the back-3 and the skipper is expected to start on the right side of the backline.

CB – Shkodran Mustafi

The former Sevilla defender has been solid at the back for us and should keep his place at the heart of the backline on Monday.

CB – Nacho Monreal

Monreal, the full-back turned CB was superb and done a good job as a part of the new backline in our clash against Chelsea – was my MOTM which was surprisingly was given to Aaron Ramsey – is expected to start on the left-side of the back-3 in this game.

RWB – Hector Bellerin

Bellerin seems to have found his lost form after struggling for few months. With no options available in RWM role, Wenger should consider using the Spaniard.

CM – Granit Xhaka

The struggling Swiss midfielder should start gunning soon if we are to pick up momentum and stich together a string of good results.

CM – Aaron Ramsey

The Welshman was superb against Chelsea and there’s no reason why Ramsey shouldn’t partner Xhaka in the midfield.

LWB – Sead Kolasinac

The new signing had a productive game against Antonio Conte’s side last week and will hope for a similar outing this weekend as well.

RW – Alex Iwobi

With Mesut Ozil still not back on his feet yet, Wenger has little choice but to use Iwobi on the right-hand of the attack.

LW – Alexis Sanchez

The Chile international started the League Cup against Doncaster and though did not have best of times, Sanchez is expected to start yet again, this weekend.

ST – Alexandre Lacazette

The French international has not been consistent in front of goal and will not find it easy to score goals against a disciplined West Brom side in this tie.
