Arsenal welcome Manchester City to the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Thursday evening, four days after the Gunners were thrashed in the Capital One Cup final.
Arsene Wenger will be desperate for a response from his team, especially with home advantage, but Arsenal’s recent head-to-head record suggests the visitors could well come out on top again.

In Arsenal and Man City’s last six meetings in all competitions, the Londoners haven’t managed a win in 90 minutes. City have enjoyed three victories and three draws in normal time and go into Thursday’s clash as favourites at the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger’s men, who are currently sixth in the Premier League table and 10 points adrift of a top-four spot, come into this week’s clash off the back of six defeats in their last 11 outings in all competitions.
Arsenal have lost three of their last four, two of which have come in London, while Manchester City boast four wins from six and are 27 points better off in the table.
The last time Wenger’s men enjoyed a victory over City in the league was all the way back in December 2015. They’re big underdogs to end the winless run on Thursday.
