According to reports from Germany via the Daily Mail, Arsenal are eyeing a move for Marco Reus if he decides to leave Borussia Dortmund but we’ll face competition from Manchester United.

Marco Reus has long been considered one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe but the Germany international has seen his wonderful progress stall over the past seasons – largely owing to series of injury problems.

The winger missed out on the 2014 World Cup and 2016 European Championship for Germany due to fitness issues and he has not played any game so far this season for BvB due to a cruciate ligament injury which is set to keep out of action until 2018.

Despite Reus recurring injury issues though, he continues to garner interest from top European clubs and according to reports from German outlet, it claims the 28-year-old is currently being monitored by both Manchester United and Arsenal.

Both the two Premier League giants are said to be in pursuit of Dortmund No. 11 who is known for his versatility, speed and technique on ball. Reus will prove a shrewd signing for Arsenal due to the fact that his current contract with the Bundesliga giants expires in 2019 and thus, Reus could be available for a cut-price.

Reus is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder, winger or striker and would serve as the best replacement to Alexis Sanchez who could be on his way out of the club in January to Manchester City.
