There’s a real feeling Arsenal could sell Hector Bellerin this summer, with the Evening Standard suggesting the Gunners’ plight could see the Spaniard seek greener pastures, while The S*n believe Arsenal want his transfer money to reinvest in a summer splurge on replacements.

The Standard also highlighted Bellerin’s dwindling relationship with a set of supporters after his public criticism of Arsenal Fan TV, suggesting that their unrest could be a catalyst to push the ex-Barcelona defender out of the Emirates Stadium. So, which is it?

We know Bellerin wanted to leave Arsenal last summer when Barcelona came calling, just seven months after he signed a long-term deal. Manchester City and Juventus were also keen on his signature, but the Catalan giants were closest to landing it.

However, Arsenal never considered letting him go and the rest was history. But now the rumours are re-merging, with Juventus back in the race for his signature, while Manchester United are reportedly now keen. A £50m price tag isn’t scaring them off either, and the feeling is that Arsenal may accept if a bid is lodged.

That would leave the right-back with the choice whether to stay at Arsenal or go elsewhere. Bellerin knows a section of fans hate him and he’s seen the Gunners spiral dramatically in the last 18 months, so there are plenty of reasons why he could leave.
