Why Arsenal’s Premier League fixture vs Everton could be rescheduled

Arsenal have confirmed that their Premier League fixture against Everton at the Emirates Stadium remains subject to change due to scheduling uncertainties linked to the Champions League round of 16.

The Gunners are scheduled to host the Merseyside club on Sunday, March 15, 2026, with kick-off set for 2.00pm (GMT).

However, the club announced on their official website that the final date and time will be confirmed only after the Champions League knockout-stage draw.

Arsenal explained that the Premier League are awaiting the outcome of Friday’s round of 16 draw, which will determine when they will play their European fixtures.

The potential adjustment is intended to avoid fixture congestion and ensure adequate recovery time between domestic and European matches.

Arsenal currently sit at the top of the Premier League table, holding a five-point lead over Manchester City following their dominant victory over Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

However, City have a game in hand and have still to face the Gunners at the Etihad Stadium this season.

The Gunners will take on Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion before facing Everton, as they aim to secure positive results to maintain their momentum in the title race.

The draw for the Champions League round of 16 is scheduled for Friday (11.00 am).
