Three Players Arsenal Could Bring In This Window

With the Gunners sitting top of the league, heading into the last sixteen of the UEFA Champions League and involved in both domestic cups, it would be easy for Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal board to rest on their laurels and ignore the remaining few weeks of the January transfer window.

However, with a raft of recent defensive injuries, concerns over Viktor Gyokeres’ lack of goals and the arguable need for a bit more dynamism to go alongside the steel in the midfield, there are a few options for Technical Director, Andrea Berta, to consider.

With plenty of online bookmakers providing odds on player transfers, who are the players that could actually make the switch to the Emirates before the turn of the month?  We take a look at a trio of players who could bring something to the Gunners’ charge for honours.

Marc Guehi

The Crystal Palace player is coming to the end of his contract at the Eagles, with both Liverpool and Manchester City strongly touted to make a play to sign him in the window, rather than risk waiting until the Summer.

The Gunners have been linked multiple times to the England international and with recent injuries even seeing Declan Rice playing at right-back, extra reinforcements would be ideal with a busy second half of the season to come. A fee of between £35-40 million may seem prohibitive considering his contract status, but the quality he would add to an already strong backline, could justify the price.

Arda Guler

The young Real Madrid star has been waiting for his breakthrough season, and it looked as though 2025/26 was finally his time, as Xabi Alonso gave him a run of starts. The Turkish international has started in fifteen of the nineteen La Liga games this season, playing in a more central role, but with Alonso’s recent ousting as Los Blancos head coach, it remains to be seen where he fits into Alvaro Arbeloa’s plans.

Although an outright purchase is unlikely, with a huge fee needed to get Real to even think about selling, a loan deal might suit both sides, with the Turk being a perfect addition to the Gunners’ midfield, offering another creative option alongside Martin Odegaard and further complementing the steel offered by Rice, Merino and Zubimendi in the middle of the park.

Karim Adeyemi

An outside shot to join the Gunners, but the Borussia Dortmund attacker has been piquing interest from Premier League sides. The international can play on both the wing and up top, with his pace an interesting alternative to Viktor Gyokeres’ more physical approach.

Adeyemi is capable of becoming a world-class player and arguably needs the right manager to get the best out of him, however would the Gunners be prepared to spend the reported £60-70 million to bag the German.

Who would you want to see brought into the side before the window shuts?
