The best Arsenal bets for the 2025/26 season

Arsenal will head into the 2025/26 season with their sights firmly set on ending their frustrating wait to win major silverware.

The Gunners’ success in the 2019/20 FA Cup final was the last time they lifted a trophy, which is a damning statistic for a club of their stature.

Arsenal’s primary aim will be to win the Premier League title for the first time since 2003/04 and plenty of punters may wager on them achieving the feat.

Many of the sportsbooks featured on comparison website Bookmakersreview.com rate Arsenal as 5/2 shots to end the campaign on top of the standings.

Those odds will undoubtedly tempt savvy bettors, particularly if the club can resolve a couple of key issues in their squad during the summer transfer window.

Arsenal desperately need to sign a prolific striker and have been strongly linked with Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko over the past few weeks.

Sesko is arguably the better option given he is younger, but prising him away from RB Leipzig may prove to be easier said than done.

While Gyokeres has been scoring goals for fun in Portugal, there is a suspicion that he may struggle to have the same impact in the Premier League.

Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi is the club’s main midfield target this summer and he would be a tremendous acquisition if they can get the deal over the line.

If Arsenal can add the little bit of quality they need to their squad, odds of 5/2 to win the Premier League would undoubtedly be great value.

Elsewhere, goalkeeper David Raya looks a banker bet to win the Golden Glove award for the third consecutive season.

He claimed the prize outright in 2023/34 with 16 clean sheets, before sharing it with Nottingham Forest’s Matz Sels last term after recording 13 shut-outs.

Raya will try to join Pepe Reina (Liverpool) and Joe Hart (Manchester City) as the only goalkeepers to win the award three consecutive times and he is fancied to get the job done.

Bukayo Saka is another Arsenal player who could sparkle in the individual player betting markets if he can steer clear of injuries next season.

Saka weighed in with ten assists in 25 appearances last term, but would have finished much closer to Mohamed Salah’s tally of 18 if he had played the full campaign.

Salah will probably be the man to beat again next term, but Saka has a decent track record for assists and could boost his output if Arsenal sign a prolific striker.

The domestic cup competitions also offer sports bettors the opportunity to secure a winning return by wagering on Arsenal this season.

The odds for the FA Cup and League Cup have yet to be published, but the Gunners will likely be priced at around 8/1 in each of the respective markets.

Wagering on them to level stakes in both competitions should give punters a good run for their money and would deliver a profit if Arsenal lift either trophy.

The Champions League betting odds will be worth perusing when they are released and the Gunners could represent value in the ‘reach the semi-final’ market.

Mikel Arteta’s side progressed to the last four this season before coming up short against eventual champions Paris Saint-Germain.

However, if they make the necessary improvements to their squad this summer, another deep run in the tournament is not beyond the realms of possibility.
