Agent trying to force his client to leave Arsenal in the January transfer window after just 51 games for the club

Arsenal could be set to lose a player who has only played 51 games for the club in the January transfer window.

Mikel Arteta has a lot of work to do in the January transfer window, with his Arsenal squad in real need of strengthening.

The Gunners boss is said to be lining up a blockbuster move to sign Victor Osimhen in order to help spark his side’s title charge back into life.

The Nigerian would be a great signing, but he will undoubtedly command a huge transfer fee and mammoth wages.

In order to make room for Osimhen, there will have to be one of two outgoings from the Emirates Stadium.

And it seems like one player in particular is destined to leave the club this winter.

January transfer window exit for Arsenal man on the cards

Jakub Kiwior could be all set to leave Arsenal after just under two years in north London.

According to Italian publication Il Mattino, Kiwior’s agent is pushing for his client to get a January move away from Arsenal.

Kiwior joined the Gunners from Spezia in January 2023 for around £20 million (Sky Sports).

However, the Polish international has yet to establish himself as a first-team regular under Arteta. He has made 51 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal, with only 29 of those being starts.

The 24-year-old is a fairly decent player, but he’s not good enough to play for Arsenal in the Premier League.

The former Spezia centre-back is far too slow, and his positional awareness is severely lacking at times.

Arteta needs to bring in some proper cover and competition for Gabriel and William Saliba.

Kiwior hasn’t been terrible for Arsenal, but he hasn’t been great either, so selling him in the January transfer window would be the correct call.
