Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus is preparing to feature heavily for the Gunners during the Premier League title run-in and in the Champions League, according to the Sun.
The Brazil international has been plagued with constant injuries since joining the North Londoners from Manchester City in the summer of 2022, but he is now fully fit having overcome persistent knee problems and a hamstring issue.
Jesus has looked sharp in recent training sessions, with Arsenal coaches impressed with his attitude, physicality and finishing.
He could feature against Man City at Etihad Stadium on Sunday with manager Mikel Arteta sweating over the fitness of attacking duo Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.
Jesus has made 19 Premier League appearances this term, weighing in with four goals and three assists, while he has four goals and two assists in six Champions League appearances.
The 26-year-old started the campaign injured having had to undergo surgery due to a knee issue, and he has had to battle recurring fitness issues after a major setback in October with a hamstring problem.
He will be desperate to fire Arsenal to the title having lost his place in the starting XI due to his frequent injury woes, and the constant rumours linking the Gunners to different strikers ahead of the summer transfer window should fire him up.
Jesus will need to prove himself in front of goal and also prove his fitness if he wants to remain a key player for the North Londoners going forward, and banging in vital strikes in the coming games will do his chances plenty of good.
