Arsenal have been handed a huge boost ahead of their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on January 20.
The Gunners have been disappointing in the last three games with successive defeats. They will be aiming to put things right against the Eagles later this month.
The club are currently in a warm-weather camp in Dubai where they have been handed a timely boost with Jesus back in training after a minor knee issue.
The Brazilian was forced to miss the FA Cup third round tie versus Liverpool due to the setback, but he has already returned to the training pitch for Arsenal.
Jesus’ return is a welcome sight for Arsenal
The Gunners have been guilty of squandering clear-cut chances on goal over recent weeks. Jesus missed a couple of wonderful opportunities to score versus West Ham United.
He was dropped to the bench against Fulham as a result, but Eddie Nketiah did not do better either. It is quite clear that Jesus is currently the best option up front for the club.
Hence, his quick return to action should be a welcome sight for the Gunners. The 26-year-old has been spotted in training in Dubai, but Arsenal have yet to reveal it themselves.
Aside from Jesus, Fabio Vieira seems to have returned to team training too. Thomas Partey is also anticipated to return this month while Jurrien Timber has started individual training.
The Gunners could have three players back in action versus Palace later this month, but Timber may not be available until March as he needs to work on getting back to match sharpness.
