Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made two changes to the starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Gunners have had a fine start to the campaign and they have accumulated 20 points from their opening eight games in the top-flight.
They face the Blues on the road this evening and have the opportunity to go temporarily top of the table with a victory over their London rivals.
Ahead of the game, Arteta has opted to make two key changes from the 1-0 win over Manchester City.
Bukayo Saka is back on the right wing for the north London giants after missing the victory over the Cityzens with a muscular problem.
Gabriel Martinelli has also returned on the other flank. The Brazilian made the difference off the bench against City with the winning goal.
The rest of the line-up stays unchanged from the previous game.
David Raya will start between the sticks with Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes and Oleksandr Zinchenko making up the defence.
In front of them, it will be the same midfield trio of Jorginho, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard.
We had predicted the possibility of Thomas Partey starting over Jorginho, but Arteta has decided to back the Italian against his former employers.
Elsewhere, Gabriel Jesus has got the nod ahead of Eddie Nketiah to lead the attack.
Confirmed Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): Raya; White, Saliba, Magalhaes, Zinchenko; Jorginho, Rice; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus.
Arsenal have had a dominant record against the Blues over the past few years. They have won at Stamford Bridge in the previous three visits and will be eyeing another victory.
