Confirmed Arsenal line-up vs PSV Eindhoven, 3 big changes

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made three changes to the starting line-up for tonight’s Champions League group stage clash against PSV Eindhoven.

The Gunners have had a fantastic start to the Premier League season and they have accumulated 13 points from the opening five top-flight games.

They will be aiming to carry the form into the Champions League. The club are back in the elite European club competition after a long absence of six years.

Ahead of tonight’s game against PSV at the Emirates Stadium, Arteta has opted to make three changes to the starting line-up from the victory over Everton.

Confirmed Arsenal line-up vs PSV: David Raya; Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Oleksandr Zinchenko; Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz; Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Leandro Trossard.

We had anticipated Aaron Ramsdale to return in goal for the Champions League opener, but Arteta has decided to keep his faith on David Raya between the sticks.

There are no surprises in defence but in midfield, Fabio Vieira has been dropped to the bench for Kai Havertz, who was a late substitute over the weekend.

Vieira has been lively for the Gunners since the start of the campaign and he was rewarded with a start on Sunday. However, Havertz has got the nod tonight.

In attack, there are two changes. Eddie Nketiah has been replaced by Gabriel Jesus up front on the back of failing to score in his last two league appearances.

Leandro Trossard, who scored a brilliant winner at Goodison Park, has taken the place of Gabriel Martinelli on the left wing. The Brazilian is currently injured.
